Kuruva Island

Kuruvadweep is a protected river delta of about 950 acres on the tributaries of the Kabini. It is three densely wooded, uninhabited islands, with smaller ones that go under when the river is high.

The islands are home to rare birds and insects, among them the Malabar trogon.
