Muthanga Wildlife Safari

Muthanga is one of the four ranges of the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, which was established in 1973 and is the second largest in Kerala at 344 square kilometres.

The forest is mostly moist deciduous teak. It is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and of Project Elephant, and holds gaur, Indian elephant, deer and Bengal tiger.
