Seethadevi Lavakusha Temple

A temple at Pulpally with a rare dedication: Sita is installed here together with Lava and Kusha, her sons by Rama, and it is one of the few temples known to have the children installed with worship still active.

The Ramayana is bound up with the place itself. The name Pulpally is said to come from the bed of grass on which Lava is believed to have played as a child.
